“They Say Patience Is a Virtue”

We are so used to wanting some things fast; faster internet, sometimes finishing our daily tasks faster and consuming things on demand, like the microwave. We sometimes forget why we need to learn this skill in the first place.

Did you know that every time we become upset or annoyed because somebody cut us off in traffic or we waited at the checkout line, or simply waited at an appointment, we’re actually only torturing ourselves?

And when we’re stuck in a moment of frustration and stress, we’re unable to accomplish anything.

I’m no stranger to impatience myself, however I’ve come to appreciate and develop the important skill of patience with practice, commitment and mindfulness.

Embrace challenges as opportunities, see them with fresh eyes as chances for growth and transformation.  Practice patience and stillness, be present in the moment and trust that everything will align when the time is right.

Elevate your energy by engaging in activities that brings you joy and uplift your spirit.  When I’m down or need a self-healing pick-me-up, I do my happy dance.  Find whatever works for you.

Our true strength comes from within.  Trust your steadfast determination and navigate through with your inner power.  Release the control and embrace the flow.

Remember we are the master of our own destiny.  Embrace the unpredictability of life, and let it serve as a reminder of our strength and resilience.

“One ought to hold on to one’s heart; for if one lets it go, one soon loses control of the head too.”

~ Friedrich Nietzsche
